The Missouri State University Foundation, the private fundraising arm of the school, raised a total of $18,010,206 during fiscal year 2016.
The funding helps grow programs, purchase equipment, build and renovate facilities, meet student needs through scholarships and provide faculty support.
MSU also won national recognition again for its fundraising success from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, known as CASE.
The university won an Overall Performance Award in educational fundraising from CASE. Missouri State was one of only five public comprehensive institutions in the country to win this award in 2016.
